About the Role
We’re looking for a talented and reliable drum teacher to deliver high-quality group lessons to children, while earning a regular monthly income of £606.67 (£7,280 annually). This is a fixed contract role for 10 hours per week, ideal for working musicians who want dependable earnings to support their creative life.

- Thursdays: 4:00–8:00pm (Monton School - M30 9PN)
- Saturdays: 9:00am–3:30pm (Media City School - M50 2XH)
- Contracted Hours: 10 per week
- Annual Salary: £7,280 (Paid monthly)

Anthem Music School is a creative and welcoming community offering high-energy, small group music lessons for children. Our goal is to help young people grow in confidence through outstanding music education—and we’re looking for a drum teacher who can bring passion, fun, and structure to each session.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver engaging group drum lessons (maximum 4 students per group)
- Plan and prepare age-appropriate, goal-driven lessons
- Help students rehearse for our concerts throughout the year
- Write short weekly progress notes for parents
- Mark attendance and monitor student progress
- Contribute to the development of our drum curriculum and create drum parts for upcoming performances during non-teaching time
Who You Are
- Energetic, engaging, and approachable
- Organised and confident in leading small groups of children
- Passionate about music education and child development
- Calm under pressure, with good time management
- Open to feedback and proactive in your role
Desirable Qualifications
- Grade 8+ on drums or equivalent experience
- Teaching experience with children (training provided for the right candidate)
- Music-related degree or performance background
- Enhanced DBS certificate and driver’s licence (preferred)
