Are you ready to help shape the future of residential construction? At Hill Group, we’re looking for an ambitious and driven Assistant Pre-Construction Technical Coordinator to support the delivery of high-quality homes and vibrant communities.
As an Assistant Pre-Construction Technical Coordinator, you’ll:
- Assist in preparing design and statutory utility fee proposals for budgets, tenders, and control documents.
- Support preconstruction activities on a range of residential developments, focusing on less complex projects.
- Liaise with consultants and statutory utilities to gather, track, and manage key project documentation.
- Work closely with estimating, commercial, construction, and technical teams to ensure seamless preconstruction delivery.
- Participate in internal and client meetings, helping to drive quality, compliance, and coordination at every stage.
You’ll be supported by a Senior Preconstruction Technical Coordinator or Technical Director and gain exposure to end-to-end preconstruction processes.
We’re seeking someone who is:
- Working towards or achieved a relevant qualification (Degree, HNC/HND, NVQ Level 5).
- Skilled in organisation, time management, and communication.
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn about all components of a tender submission.
- Familiar with design standards, Building Regulations, CDM requirements, and statutory processes.
- Able to interpret technical drawings and specifications, and keen to build knowledge in utility coordination and compliance.
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) are essential, and a basic understanding of BIM Level 2, Golden Thread principles, and the client journey will be advantageous.
