Are you passionate about improving the lives of older people?
We are seeking a creative and organised Activity Coordinator to join our dedicated team at Davlyn House Care. This is an exciting opportunity to plan and deliver a wide range of activities that promote the well-being and happiness of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead a variety of engaging activities that support physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
- Tailor activities to meet the individual interests and abilities of residents. E.g music bingo, arts and Crafts, Parachute games (we have all equipments required)
- Work closely with care staff and volunteers to ensure activities are well-supported.
- Keep accurate records of activities and monitor residents' participation, with photos and upload on our Care app.
What We’re Looking For:
- Ideally (not necessary) Previous experience as an activity coordinator role (preferably in a care home, healthcare setting or school settings).
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Creative and enthusiastic with a genuine passion for working with elderly residents.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with residents and their families.
