We are looking for a hardworking, reliable Pot Wash to join our team. This is a vital role in keeping our busy hotel and restaurant kitchen running smoothly.
Duties include:
- Washing pots, pans, utensils, and cooking equipment throughout service
- Cleaning and sanitising all kitchen items to a high standard
- General cleaning of the kitchen, including floors, walls, and food storage areas
- Ensuring the pot wash area is clean, tidy, and well-stocked at all times
- Any other duties needed to maintain hygiene and efficiency in the kitchen
Typical Shift:
- Beginning of shift: Clean and set up the pot wash area, making sure it’s organised and ready for service
- During service: Wash pots and pans as they come in, keeping pace with the demands of a busy kitchen
- End of shift: Deep clean the pot wash area, empty and clean the dishwasher, and leave the kitchen spotless for the next day
Requirements:
- Able to work split shifts (morning and evening)
- Fast, organised worker who can cope with a high-paced environment
- Keen eye for detail and commitment to maintaining the highest hygiene standards
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
