P/T Pot Washer/Kitchen Porter required for our pub/restaurant located in Knutsford Town Centre

Responsibilities and Duties:
The position involves hard work and is not particularly glamorous as it comprises of washing dishes, pots, pans and cutlery, clearing plates and rubbish, cleaning tables, floors, work surfaces and fridges.
General domestic duties as required. But the opportunity exists to assist the chefs and learn kitchen procedure and food preparation.
Main Responsibilities:
· To undertake cleaning duties including pot washing and sanitisation and use of commercial equipment.
· To assist with food handling, food preparation, stock rotation, stored and handled as per Company policies.
· To perform any additional task as directed by the Head Chef/Owners/Bar Supervisors To undertake washing up and cleaning as required
· To be responsible for washing up and waste removal.
· To complete any administration as requested including wastage and cleaning schedules etc.
· To ensure the pot wash area/cellar/storage areas are maintained in a clean, organised manner complying with all food safety and health & safety policies and procedures are followed.
The position is part time with hours to suit you, and would involve working evenings and all day weekends as required.
Good hourly rates of pay and your availability to be discussed at interview.
