Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking KP / Pot Wash to join our dynamic kitchen team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and an eagerness to learn within a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or culinary setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
Duties
- Ensure all kitchen utensils, pots, and pans are washed and sanitised promptly to maintain hygiene standards.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
- Keep the kitchen area clean and organised, including floors, surfaces, and equipment.
- Support chefs and kitchen staff during busy service periods by providing necessary assistance.
- Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling protocols are followed.
- Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times within the kitchen environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or culinary setting is preferred but not essential.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques is beneficial.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- A team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards hospitality.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to cooking and food service.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £7.55-£12.30 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
