Walfinch Suffolk Coastal are looking for an On Call Responder to cover evenings and weekends as needed to oversea the smooth running of the Domiciliary Care Service.

You would be required to be available on agreed days/hours to answer any incoming calls and to cover any care calls that become uncovered due to emergency or sickness.

The ideal candidate will have had previous care experience within a Senior Care Assistant and have the ability to adjust and cover rota's promptly and correctly as needed.

You will be paid a £50.00 daily retainer. If you were to be called out to provide care to one of our client's during this time, you will be paid £15.00 per hour on top of your retainer.

You would also need to have a full clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

The role will include:

  • Taking all calls that are to come through from all branches of Walfinch, in the Norfolk and Suffolk area.
  • Arranging and delegating staff rota's as changes arise using our using our online system.
  • Travelling to clients homes to cover their care calls as needed.
  • Providing personal care. meal preparation and dispensing of medication as needed.
  • Full hand over to be given following your shift.
  • Uniform provided, free DBS check and PPE
  • Comprehensive training given.

What we need from you :

  • A valid UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Experience in the Health Care sector.
  • Good communication skill with a positive attitude.
  • A genuine passion to helping others and making a difference.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • The Right to Work in the UK
