Herdsperson specialising in Herd Mobility
Do you love cows?!
Are you looking for the opportunity to make a real difference in a growing business?
Do you want to work with like-minded, forward thinking people?
Our Business
Our team comprises of passionate people who share our values and love of cows.
We sit down together weekly, either as a team or with our vet, to monitor progress and agree plans to continuously improve technical performance and meet our goals.
We run a herd of 600 cows, on a fully housed, all year-round calving system, and milk three times per day through a 40:40 herringbone parlour with ADF.
All cows wear Cow Alert pedometers which monitor locomotion as well as lying times and heat detection. Each cow receives a routine trim three times per year, by our contract foot trimmer.
Our priority is driving production through high welfare and close attention to detail.
We are looking to recruit someone with the same values to join our team.
