On the evening of World Suicide Prevention Day, 10 September, an event is being held in the evening to raise awareness of suicide and the support that is available. The event is hosted by Support For Us, a charity being launched to provide training and resources around young people’s mental health.
On the day, we are looking for help on the day to man the entrance and check attendees in. Due to the nature of the event and the heavy topics covered, we are looking for somebody who is Mental Health First Aid trained (or other mental health related qualification) to be on hand in case anybody needs to step outside for a chat.
Responsibilities will include checking attendees in, typing up paper forms and being there for anybody who may want to step aside for a chat.
The event itself is 17:30 - 21:30- this job is from 17:30 - 22:00. Pay for the evening is £65.
