We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Health & Safety/ HR Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing various HR and Health & Safety functions, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Duties
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with organisational goals.
- Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, and conducting interviews.
- Facilitate employee onboarding and training programmes to ensure smooth integration into the company.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
- Conduct performance evaluations and assist in developing improvement plans as necessary.
- Provide support in conflict resolution and employee relations issues, promoting a harmonious work environment.
- Prepare reports on HR metrics, including turnover rates and recruitment effectiveness.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying issues affecting employee satisfaction and retention.
- Assist in the development of health and safety policies, including first aid training for staff members.
- Looking after all areas of Health & Safety ensuring the business remains full compliant
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £32,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
