The OrthTeam Centre (OTC) is a state of the art Outpatients and Diagnostic private facility adjacent to Spire Manchester Hospital. Currently, the team is looking for an experienced Administrator to join their Radiology team on a full time and permanent basis.
The OTC strives to be an autonomous centre of excellence, aiming to be the private healthcare provider of choice for Musculoskeletal Outpatient Services, across the Northwest. This is an exciting joint venture between OrthTeam Consultants and Spire Healthcare and is an ideal opportunity for individuals looking to join a new team and be part of a developing service.
Working hours: Varied shifts between the hours of 7:45 am and 08:30 pm. 1 in 4 Saturdays 08:00-16:00 will be required.

As Radiology Administrator you will assist the multi-disciplinary team to provide exemplary patient administration within the radiology department, providing an efficient bookings service and operating within set protocols. Ensuring accurate completion of all appropriate audit materials and issue of radiology reports.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Contact patients and arrange radiology appointments liaising with other departments as appropriate
- Liaising with Sports teams and VIP’s to ensure smooth booking processes through agreed pathways
- Establish and maintain communication with people on routine care matters
- Input patient data on to hospital and radiology information systems
- Maintain general administrative duties e.g.filing/photocopying of documentation
- Transfer and deliver radiology reports to appropriate destinations.
Who we are looking for:
- The successful candidate must have excellent customer service skills
- Previous and relevant experience in a multi-skilled, patient support role
- Experienced and proficient in the use of PC, to include Microsoft packages
- Experience of using in-house/administration systems such as SAP
- Someone who works well as part of a team
