Are you an enthusiastic and engaging clinical administrator?
Are you experienced in working in a busy environment with a multidisciplinary clinical team?
We are an independent healthcare practice based in Gosforth, Newcastle Upon Tyne. We are seeking a medical secretary/clinical administrator to help coordinate clients' assessments and treatment journeys within the service. You must have excellent communication skills (written and oral), be able to help cover reception and triage phone calls, support invoicing and finances, have organisational skills, and have a passion for neurodiversity and inclusion.
You will be required to work with our IT systems, be proactive, and be able to work independently and within the team.
The role will be paid at £25-£28.000 depending on experience and qualifications.

This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage appointments effectively, and a strong understanding of IT systems to facilitate smooth operations. The administrator will work closely with clients, families, and staff to ensure that all needs are met efficiently and compassionately.
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Coordinate the delivery of a series of assessments in both remote and clinic settings.
- Monitor the quality of assessment and admin provided and make adjustments as needed to improve client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to client care and services provided.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for clients is delivered.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative role is highly desirable.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in using software for managing appointments and documentation.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal, for effective communication with clients and team members.
- Demonstrated ability to organise tasks efficiently while managing multiple priorities.
- A caring attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality support for clients.
- NVQ 2/3 in administration is desirable.
