The People Ops Generalist provides comprehensive support across core human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance. This role partners with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operational processes and a consistent employee experience. They contribute to policy development, performance management, and organizational initiatives, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Essential Functions:
- Lead new hire onboarding sessions ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for new employees.
- Support recruitment processes, including screening resumes, coordinating interviews, drafting employment contracts, and managing onboarding logistics.
- Deliver end-to-end People Operations support, including onboarding/offboarding, HRIS support, employment verifications, and leave management.
- Handle confidential employee relations matters with professionalism and assist in performance management processes and termination interviews.
- Support team in compliance efforts, including internal audits, updating the employee handbook, and maintaining alignment with legal and industry standards.
- Execute and enhance workflows across cross-functional teams (Recruiting, Finance, Legal, IT, Compliance) to improve operational effectiveness, make recommendations on process improvements
- Coordinate immigration and global mobility processes, partnering with legal teams and government agencies to support visa-related requests.
- Participate in planning and execution of People team initiatives, including employee experience projects, company events, and organizational change rollouts.
- Ensuring timely resolution of employee inquiries and operational requests.
- Conduct research and analyze data to support People team projects, and contribute to the development of workforce planning, policies, and procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree and 5+ years of related experience
- Proficient knowledge of HR principles and practices as well as an understanding of employment laws and regulations
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Preferred:
- Experience with Workday
- Relevant HR certifications
- Knowledge and experience support multiple countries in EMEA region
