We're looking for a People Partner to join our team. This generalist business partnering role is hands-on, working cross-functionally to connect leaders and teams.

Through strong internal partnerships, you'll coach and support our people to deliver their best. You'll also be key in creating smooth and supportive employee lifecycle experiences, from onboarding to offboarding, and everything in between.

At Answer, we challenge the norm. You'll play a vital role in embedding innovation into the people experience, working closely with our People & Culture Lead to build a culture where everyone feels heard, valued, and empowered to thrive.

What you’ll do

People Partnering
  • Coach and advise managers on effective people management, including performance, engagement, and employee relations, in line with our values and best practice.
  • Assist in gathering and interpreting people data to provide valuable insights, supporting data-driven decision-making within teams.
People Experience (PX)
  • Coordinate and continuously improve key touchpoints across the employee lifecycle.
  • Track and manage important employee milestones and processes, such as probation check-ins, role changes, and return-to-work plans.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, including wellbeing, feedback cycles, events, and recognition.
  • Be the first point of contact for day-to-day employee queries.
People Ops
  • Keep our people's data up-to-date and accurate in our HRIS (HiBob) and help prepare reports and dashboards to track key people metrics.
  • Support with policy updates and documentation.
Culture and comms
  • Collaborate on internal communications, culture-building activities, and company events.

  • Support the delivery of workshops, trainings, and all-company get-togethers.

  • Help ensure our core values are at the forefront in everyday experiences.

Support to People & Culture Lead
  • Provide administrative and logistical support on people projects and strategic initiatives.

  • Conduct research and gather feedback to inform people programmes and priorities.

About you

  • You’ll have some existing experience working in a People and Culture role.

  • You genuinely care about people and want to create an inclusive and meaningful workplace experience for everyone.

  • You’re a strong communicator (both verbally and written) and a natural relationship-builder.

  • You’re proactive, and are constantly looking for new opportunities to improve the people experience.

  • You’re able to deal with juggling different priorities and can make quick decisions on what’s most important.

  • You’re curious, ask thoughtful questions, and are confident in providing effective challenge to bring new perspectives and ideas.

  • You’re excited to learn and committed to your own personal development.

Not essential, but helpful experience:

  • Identifying opportunities to enhance and streamline the people experience across the entire lifecycle.

  • Transforming people data into actionable business insights and presenting findings.

  • Empowering people leaders through coaching and practical support.

If you think you have what it takes but don't meet every single point above, please still get in touch. We'd love to chat and see if you could be a great fit.

Why join us

  • With quarterly promotion rounds and a defined career ladder, you'll have all the tools to progress at your own pace.

  • A company bonus, paid every 6 months (and its income tax free!)

  • Learning budget - Case-by-case budget to support your professional development.

  • 25 paid days off per year (excl. public holidays) - Increases with length of service.
