An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrative/Project Support officer to join NHS Tayside Innovation.
NHS Tayside Innovation strives to be a leader in health innovation and digital healthcare, transforming the health and wellbeing of citizens across Tayside. NHS Tayside Innovation supports innovation that addresses key challenges to improve health, social care and service delivery, usually aligned with national or local strategic priorities. NHS Tayside Innovation is primarily involved with innovation activity that focuses on development of ideas, testing and developing prototypes, evaluation of devices and processes in real life environments.
The post holder will provide a comprehensive and high standard of administrative and project support to members of NHS Tayside Innovation and the portfolio of projects. The post holder will be the first point of contact for communications with NHS Tayside Innovation and will be required to liaise with and respond to enquiries from a range of staff within NHS Tayside including clinical and managerial staff, as well as external agencies such as academia, industry partners and Scottish Government.
We are looking for someone with:
- Enthusiasm and flexibility to adapt to the different projects that come into NHS Tayside Innovation.
- Experience in an NHS administrative role and in supporting innovation projects.
- Excellent IT and communication skills.
- The ability to work with multidisciplinary staff from different sectors and levels of seniority.
- The ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, whilst prioritising their workload effectively.
You will be based in Ninewells Hospital, Dundee but will work flexibly, Monday to Friday, as required by the work and managers. You must be able to visit other sites within Tayside, and on occasion across Scotland as required.

Hours of work are: 21 hours per week.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
