WALSTEAD, one of the UK’s leading web offset printers has the following vacancies for their site based in Peterborough:
Print Assistant
Attractive 5 shifts pattern, average 33hrs a week, working days and nights with up to 7 days off between shifts.
12 hour shifts 06.00am to 18.00hrs or 18.00hrs to 06.00 plus 13 days holiday per year
We are seeking various levels of printers to join a thriving company within the print industry based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.
The successful candidates will be responsible for the running of the Manroland and Rotoman presses and should be keen, versatile and experienced whilst willing to learn new skills
- Fully conversant with the print process and production of weekly time-sensitive titles, be quality conscious, commercially aware and have an eye for detail.
- Candidate must have previous web print experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate within a crew
- Ability to work under pressure and to keep to tight deadlines
