About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-driven, reliable individual to join our growing production team. As Prepress & Artwork Assistant, you’ll help prepare files for print across a wide variety of projects — from branded clothing and signage to paper products and packaging.
This role is ideal for someone with a foundation in design and Adobe software, who enjoys solving problems and learning new skills. You don’t need to be an expert — but you should be comfortable using Illustrator and Photoshop, or confident you can learn fast. You’ll be part of a fast-paced, creative environment with lots of variety and room to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Check and prepare artwork files to make them print-ready (bleed, crop marks, resolution, scaling etc.)
- Use Illustrator and Photoshop to edit or adjust customer artwork as needed
- Vectorise logos and designs supplied in poor quality formats so they can be scaled for large format printing (e.g. shop signage, vehicle graphics, banners)
- Resize and adapt files for different print methods (DTF, large format, sublimation, etc.)
- Maintain organised file systems and job folders
- Work closely with the admin and production team to ensure artwork is accurate and approved
- Create basic mockups or proofs for internal and client use
- Follow and improve internal artwork processes and checklists
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Basic experience using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Able to work with and convert raster logos (e.g. JPEG/PNG) into clean vector artwork
- Eye for layout and accuracy
- Reliable and self-motivated — willing to learn and improve over time
- Comfortable managing your own workload and staying organised
- Good communication and time management skills
Desirable:
- Experience working with print, signage, or garment artwork
- Familiarity with digital print terms (CMYK, DPI, vector vs raster etc.)
- Previous experience with RIP software, mockup tools or print systems (not required — training can be given)
What We Offer
- Friendly, collaborative work environment
- Training and development in real-world prepress, printing, and finishing
- Opportunities to get involved in exciting projects across clothing, signage, retail and more
- Access to cutting-edge production equipment and techniques
- A modern, growing workspace with over 500m² of production space
- Real career progression opportunities as we expand
