As part of our dedicated finance team, the Administrator will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of day-to-day operations.
Position Overview:
The Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the POD & Invoicing process. This position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, verify, and process proof of delivery documents from drivers and couriers.
- Ensure all PODs are accurately scanned, uploaded, and stored in the system.
- Liaise with drivers and other departments to resolve POD discrepancies.
- Maintain up-to-date records of deliveries and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Respond to internal and external POD-related queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Generate and process invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with internal departments to obtain necessary information for invoicing, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely billing.
- Liaise with third parties regarding invoice inquiries, discrepancies, and payment processing.
- Assist with general administrative duties within the logistics or operations department.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a Transport company desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
