We are seeking a highly motivated Control Room Operator to join our state-of-the-art security operations team in Uxbridge. This pivotal role will involve overseeing CCTV, Access Control, Alarms, ANPR, and other advanced security technologies across six key campus locations.
About the Role:
As a Control Room Operator, you will be at the heart of our security operations, managing incident response and ensuring the safety and security of our sites. You will work within a modern, purpose-built control room, operating during peak times with a team of two personnel to maintain continuous coverage.
Your responsibilities will include:
Monitoring CCTV, alarms, access control, and ANPR systems.
Managing incident reports and liaising with emergency services and police when required.
Collating and analysing community tension reports, including local crime, gang activity, and geopolitical threats.
Ensuring effective communication across all levels of the organisation and external agencies.
Contributing to risk assessments and vulnerability reviews to improve site security.
About You:
Valid SIA CCTV License is essential.
Previous experience in a control room or security operations environment is preferred.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with police, emergency services, and internal teams.
Strong situational awareness and decision-making skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team during shift rotations.
Knowledge of local crime trends, gang culture, and geopolitical issues is desirable.
