Min Experience - 8 yrs + (not more than 18 yrs overall exp)
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patch Compliance Coordinator to support our patching and vulnerability management activities. This role is not hands-on technical patching, nor is it project management; instead, it focuses on coordinating patching efforts, engaging with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with tight patching timelines.
The ideal candidate will have some prior experience in patch management or vulnerability management — either from a technical or coordination perspective — and will be confident handling large datasets, running reports, and facilitating discussions between technical teams and compliance stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Review patching and vulnerability scan data (e.g., from Flexera or similar tools) and consolidate it into actionable, clear reports.
Engage with application owners, infrastructure teams, and server owners to address overdue patching.
Facilitate discussions to understand patching delays, identify technical or procedural blockers, and ensure proper audit processes are followed where patching cannot be completed.
Track scheduled patches, follow up on outstanding actions, and escalate issues where required.
Run and refresh existing reports using tools such as dbRib (SAP BusinessObjects), Power BI, or Tableau.
Maintain and analyze large datasets in Excel to support compliance tracking.
Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure deadlines are met and patch compliance objectives are achieved.
Required Skills & Experience
Prior experience in patching, vulnerability management, or patch compliance (technical or non-technical).
Ability to interpret patching data and determine compliance requirements.
Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to manage sensitive compliance discussions in a diplomatic manner.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced data handling, formatting, and reporting).
Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar IT Service Management tools (e.g., Remedy).
Desirable Skills & Experience
Experience running or refreshing reports in dbRib, Power BI, or Tableau.
Exposure to scanning tools such as Flexera.
Previous work experience in large organizations, particularly in the financial sector.
Additional Information
This role involves high-volume coordination and stakeholder engagement rather than technical patching. Candidates must be comfortable with frequent follow-ups and managing multiple concurrent conversations to ensure compliance targets are met.
