File Reviewer - IFA Compliance
Location: Our Support office in Chorley – 1 day working from home and 4 office days (with a requirement that 3 of these need to be at our support office and 1 can be in any of our other offices)
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum + discretionary bonuses

The opportunity:
We’re seeking to recruit for a File Review to join our growing Compliance team. This role blends hands-on file reviews with broader compliance projects, offering a unique chance to grow in a firm where your contributions directly shape its success.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct pre- and post-sale file reviews across pensions, investments and protection, ensuring FCA compliance and high-quality advice.
· Produce clear, actionable reports for advisers and track remedial actions to resolution.
· Support the Head of Compliance with risk management tasks, including policy updates, MI reporting, and regulatory audits.
· Maintain Training & Competence (T&C) records, including CAS reviews and competency assessments.
· Assist in developing/delivering compliance training and process improvements.
Candidate Requirements:
· Essential: Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent)
· Proven experience in compliance, file review, or QA (financial services, preferably pensions/investments).
· Strong grasp of FCA rules and financial advice standards.
· Analytical with exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.
