Job Title: Spray Painter – Plant & Commercial Vehicles
Location: Kendal
We’re currently seeking an experienced Spray Painter to join our dedicated paint team at our Kendal workshop. In this role, you’ll be responsible for applying professional-grade finishes to plant machinery and commercial vehicles, supporting both in-house builds and customer projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Surface preparation and application of various high-quality paints and finishes
- Spray painting machinery, vehicles, and individual components
- Managing paint supplies and maintaining accurate inventory levels
- Keeping the paint booth and work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Coordinating the movement of parts and equipment within the workshop
Who We’re Looking For:
- Excellent attention to detail and finish quality
- Experience with a range of paint types, including gloss, metallic, and lacquer
- Background in surface prep and refinishing techniques
- Able to work independently and follow precise instructions
- Well-organized with strong workspace management habits
- Experience with signwriting, vinyl wrapping, or detailing is a bonus—but not essential, as training can be provided
Preferred Experience:
Previous spray painting experience on commercial vehicles such as trucks, trailers, or lorries is highly desirable.
