As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled Composite Paint Sprayer to join our passionate and driven workshop team.
Position Overview:
The Composite Paint Sprayer plays a vital role in delivering flawless finishes on carbon fibre automotive components. You will be responsible for preparing and painting bespoke parts to exacting standards for road, race, and prototype vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare composite panels for painting, including sanding, filling, masking, and cleaning
- Apply primers, basecoats, topcoats, and clear coats
- Mix and colour-match paints, including metallics and pearlescents
- Ensure painted finishes meet visual and technical specifications
- Carry out touch-ups and repairs on high-end body panels
- Work from job cards, technical drawings, and paint specs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient booth and workspace
- Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience painting automotive composite components
- Strong background in prepping, spraying, and finishing high-end vehicle parts
- Excellent understanding of automotive paint systems and finishing techniques
- Attention to detail and pride in producing showroom/motorsport quality finishes
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Flexible and collaborative attitude – team player with a strong work ethic
