Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing administrative tasks, supporting accounting functions, and maintaining effective communication within the team. This position requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of accounts payable processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring efficiency and organisation
- Handle accounts payable, including processing invoices and payments
- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
- Assist with monthly financial reporting and reconciliation tasks
- Provide administrative support to management and staff as needed
- Coordinate office supplies and inventory management
- Facilitate communication between departments to enhance workflow
- Prepare reports and presentations as required
Experience
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within an office environment
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial record keeping
- Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to multitask effectively and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
