Full time Office Administrator required for busy Funeral Director based in Portsmouth and Waterlooville.
We are looking for an empathetic person with excellent communication and administration skills as well as computer literacy to join our team. You will ensure that families are offered support and reassurance, keeping them informed at all times and ensuring that every detail is dealt with in a caring and professional manner. A full UK driving licence is required as you may be expected to travel between both offices. You must be of smart appearance and a full uniform will be provided.
Responsibilities to include:
- Ensuring families are welcomed with care, empathy and professionalism.
- Completing all relevant paperwork with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ensuring all paperwork is delivered to the relevant authorities on time.
- Liaise with third parties such as Hospitals, Ministers, Crematoriums, Florists.
- Day to day office administration including invoicing, filing etc., .
- General reception duties.
- Accompanying families during chapel visits.
- Preparation of Order of Service.
Hours of work: 3 days 8 - 5pm 1 day 8.30 - 6pm 1 day 8 - 1pm and alternate Saturday mornings.
Salary starting at £29 - £31,745K. A company pension is provided.
