Your Role:
- Uphold the highest standards of quality in the nursery, ensuring the environment, resources, and activities are engaging and educational for the children.
- Take on key carer duties for designated children, ensuring their individual needs are met.
- Lead and facilitate stimulating activities that match the developmental stages of the children.
- Help prepare and guide activities that support children’s learning and growth.
- Step in to manage the nursery environment effectively in the absence of the Team or Room Leader.
- Ensure the nursery operates in compliance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) guidelines.
- Provide guidance and support to students and less experienced staff, ensuring the delivery of outstanding childcare practices.
Requirements:
- Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
- Proven experience in a childcare setting, with an understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
- A caring, patient, and positive approach to working with children
- Ability to create a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment for children
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage tasks effectively
- A commitment to continuous professional development
