You will be part of new team to provide nurturing care and development to children based in each room, whilst building positive and effective partnerships with parents, local authority and all staff within the nursery setting.
You will support with planning and embedding the curriculum, meeting all health and safety requirements, following the statutory framework within the setting, and meeting all Ofsted statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:-
Leadership and Management:
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and professional working environment.
- Curriculum and Quality Assurance:
- The implementation of the early years curriculum and ensure it meets the needs of all children.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
.Child Welfare and Safeguarding:
- Promote and ensure the welfare and safety of all children in the nursery.
- Maintain effective safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Work closely with parents and external agencies to support children’s individual needs.
Community Engagement:
- Build strong relationships with parents, encouraging their involvement in nursery life.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A relevant childcare qualification (level 2, 3 or be willing to complete your qualification whilst working with us)
- Knowledge of safeguarding practices and regulatory requirements.- Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
