Job Summary
The nursery practitioner will work in one of our play rooms with ages ranging from 6 months to 4 years.
The successful candidate will be familiar with the EYFS (2021), observing children and be able to contribute to planning suitable activities. We work together in assessing the children and ensuring they make appropriate progress. We require good time-keeping and attendance in order to provide continuity for the children. We work well in smaller room-based teams and as a whole nursery. Responsibilities include caring for and educating children in all areas of the EYFS; setting up activities; writing observations; contributing to planning; implementing safeguarding procedures and creating safe, inviting environments for the children.
The successful candidates will have a level 3 in childcare.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, possible progression to room leader.
Job hours: 8am - 6pm 4 days a week with a flexible day off.
Salary: £13.50 per- hour.
