At the end of last year we launched our Mobile Youth Club (MYC), a state of the art vehicle created to engage young people within their communities. Due to its popularity we are looking for vibrant, enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our team and support us to make a positive difference to young people’s lives.
As part of your role, you will;
- Set up and clear away the Mobile Youth Club
- Take part in activities
- Build a rapport with young people and listen to their concerns
- Inspire young people to achieve their aspirations
- Provide young people a guiding hand and support to enable them to make informed decisions
- Encourage and promote self-advocacy and/or advocate on behalf of the young person
- Plan activates
- Develop and maintain close links with the local community, voluntary organisations, voluntary helpers, police, social care, CAMHS and any other relevant professionals.
- Enforce behaviour agreements.
