Property Administrator (Part-Time)
Chelmsford | £23,873.50 FTE | 20 hours per week | Permanent
Domans Residential is an independent, ARLA Propertymark licensed letting agent with an excellent reputation for customer service. We are looking for a motivated and organised Property Administrator to join our friendly Chelmsford office.
Key Responsibilities
- General office administration & diary management (office based)
- Handling calls and enquiries from tenants and landlords
- Assisting with property advertising & lettings negotiations
- Coordinating safety certificates (Gas, Electrical, EPCs)
- Supporting with property inspections, inventories, and renewals
- Resolving tenant issues and providing excellent customer service
- Assisting with maintenance problem-solving
- Must have high levels of spelling, grammar and accuracy for checking documents.

Requirements
- Excellent communication and telephone manner
- Strong organisation and administration skills
- Must have high levels of spelling, grammar and accuracy for checking documents.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel & Outlook essential)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional, adaptable, and willing to take on varied tasks
- Maintenance knowledge/problem-solving skills an advantage
Schedule
- Part-time, 20 hours per week
- Typical week - Tuesday 9am- 5pm, Wednesday 9am - 5pm, Friday 9am -4pm (Some slight flexibility could be possible)
- Monday to Friday (occasional Saturday mornings, but rare)
- Flexibility to cover holidays where needed
