We’re looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on individual to join our IT team as a Trainee IT Support Technician. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to start a career in IT, with on-the-job training and support from experienced team members. No formal qualifications required, just a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in technology.

Duties
- Provide basic first-line support to staff, including password resets and troubleshooting simple IT issues
- Set up new hardware (PCs, laptops, printers) and install software
- Log and track support tickets using our IT helpdesk system
- Assist with maintaining IT equipment and inventory records
- Shadow and support senior IT staff on technical tasks and projects
- Help maintain network and system documentation
Skills
- Strong interest in IT and technology - you build PCs, fix devices, or enjoying learning tech skills on your own
- Good problem-solving ability and logical thinking
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Eagerness to learn new skills and adapt to changing environments
- Able to sense check own work
- Comfortable talking to people at all levels of seniority both within and outside the organisation
