Role Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and organised HR & Operations Coordinator to support the smooth day-to-day running of the business. This is a varied role that includes HR administration, payroll coordination, general office duties, and health & safety compliance. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys being involved in multiple aspects of business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
HR & Payroll
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation
- Coordinate recruitment processes, onboarding, and leaver administration
- Manage holiday, absence, and timekeeping records
- Prepare and process payroll information in collaboration with finance/payroll provider
- Support staff wellbeing and handle basic HR queries
Administration
- Manage office supplies and correspondence
- Maintain internal systems, filing, and documentation
- Assist with scheduling and communication across departments
- Provide general administrative support to management
Health & Safety
- Ensure health & safety policies are up to date and compliant
- Organise risk assessments and safety checks
- Coordinate staff training in health & safety procedures
- Maintain incident/accident reports and follow up as required
Key Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in HR, payroll, administration, or operations (multi-skilled roles ideal)
- Knowledge of employment law and payroll procedures (preferred)
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Friendly, approachable, and confidential with sensitive information
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and admin systems
- Health & Safety awareness (training can be provided)
