Join Rotherham Council as a Senior HR Assistant and play a key role in supporting strategic HR programmes that shape the future of our workforce.
In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll provide essential support to our HR Strategic Programme Lead, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and maintaining accurate HR systems and records. You’ll be a key contact for internal and external queries, producing insightful HR reports and analytics to drive data-informed decisions.
We’re looking for someone with experience in monitoring workloads, quality assurance, and using performance indicators to improve service delivery. If you’re confident using Microsoft Office 365 and have a keen eye for detail, we’d love to hear from you.

Until 31st March 2026 employees paid at Band D and above are subject to a temporary pay reduction of 1.15% spread out by means of a monthly deduction from each pay period over the full financial year. In recognition of implementing this temporary measure, those who experience a pay reduction will be awarded three additional days leave (pro rata for part-time).
