Your Day to Day Will Include
- Working with fibre optic fusion machines i.e. Fujikura, Sumitomo for splicing
- Prepare, splice and troubleshoot fibre optical cable
- Install, repair and maintain fibre optic splice closures and distribution panels/hubs
- Work in chambers and manholes, aerial plant, and customer premises
- Generate and understand OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer) and Power Meter test results
- Prepare and submit reports in accordance with company requirements
- A good understanding of SLD's and network schematics to aid the day’s work
You will need:
· Full UK driving license with less than 6 points or local commute to our office.
· to be capable of following instructions and using initiative to problem solve without being unsafe.
· to be capable of managing a challenging workload.
· To be physically capable of carrying out the role.
· Proof of right to work in the UK
· NRSWA LA and 01
· SA002 Safe working underground
· Desirable N27

Pay: £140.00-£170.00 per day
