Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Female Carers to provide high-quality support to individuals in need of assistance in their own homes. You will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting their independence. This position requires a nurturing attitude and the ability to work effectively with seniors and individuals with various health conditions.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, ensuring adherence to prescribed routines.
- Monitor and document changes in clients' physical and emotional conditions.
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including driving clients to appointments or social activities.
- Support clients with Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, and other cognitive impairments through behaviour management techniques.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks as needed to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental stimulation and social interaction.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals for case management and ensure continuity of care.
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience in care, nursing homes, or assisted living environments is highly desirable.
- A full driving licence
- Experience in hospice care or working with individuals requiring specialised support is an advantage.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.70 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week
