Job Summary
Weldfast UK is seeking a Digital Content and Website Administrator to join our marketing team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our website, managing content and product listings, supporting online marketing efforts, and helping to grow engagement with our brand-new customer portal. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of a growing business, with a varied role that combines digital content, basic SEO, Google Analytics, and user engagement, all while gaining valuable experience in e-commerce and B2B digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Website
- Managing day-to-day website updates, including uploading new products, product data, and images using the PIM system.
- Ensuring all content is accurate, up to date, SEO-friendly, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Working alongside the Marketing Manager to implement digital campaigns including SEO and PPC campaigns.
- Using tools like Google Analytics to track website and portal performance and propose ideas to increase user engagement.
Portal
- Supporting the management of the new portal build on Weldfast side, providing progress updates to internal stakeholders.
- Completing user acceptance testing (UAT), including functional and browser testing.
- Engaging directly with customers to promote the portal and support onboarding.
- Managing customer pricing.
- Reporting regularly to the board on usage, monthly registrations, and key engagement metrics.
- Collaborating with internal teams and customers to resolve issues and improve digital processes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working with content management systems (CMS), for example, Umbraco.
- Knowledge of SEO (content and technical), Google tools including Analytics and Search Console, and ideally PPC.
- Confident communicator – both written and verbal – with the ability to talk to a range of stakeholders including customers, directors, and suppliers.
- Comfortable with testing digital platforms and logging/reporting any issues clearly.
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take ownership of digital tasks.
- Ideally degree-educated in Marketing, Digital Media, IT or a related field – or equivalent experience.
