Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Treatment Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The Treatment Coordinator will serve as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring that all necessary information is conveyed clearly and efficiently.
Duties
- Coordinate patient appointments and manage scheduling to optimise clinic workflow.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment plans, answering any questions they may have.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
- Assist in the preparation of treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
- Provide support to patients during their treatment process, ensuring they feel informed and comfortable.
- Utilise IT systems for managing patient data and scheduling tasks efficiently.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care and follow-up procedures.
- Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
Experience
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, particularly in roles involving patient care or coordination.
- A background as a nurse or similar role would be advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential for effective interaction with patients and colleagues.
- Proficiency in IT systems relevant to healthcare management is desirable, ensuring efficient handling of patient information.
- this role will require to travel 2 days a week across different sites
