Customer Service Representative – Wholesale Butcher
Location: Clayton-Le-Moors, Lancashire
Hours: Monday to Friday 6am – 2.40pm & Saturday 6am – 8am 42 Hours

Pennys Meats is a well-established wholesale butcher supplying top-quality meat to restaurants, hotels and other food businesses across the North of England. We’re looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our friendly team and become a vital link between our butchery team and our customers.
What You’ll Do:
- Take and process customer orders by phone, email, and in person
- Use your culinary knowledge to advise chefs and business owners on cuts, portioning, and menu needs
- Build strong relationships with existing customers and help attract new business
- Assist with stock checks, costings, product information, invoicing & other admin tasks
About You:
- Previous experience in a catering environment is required
- Passionate about food, especially meat and butchery
- Friendly, confident, and customer-focused
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Organised and reliable, with attention to detail
