Reporting directly to our Director of Events, you'll take ownership of world-class tech events that define industries. This isn't just about organizing conferences - it's about creating exceptional experiences that attract global audiences both in-person and across our cutting-edge digital platforms.

What You'll Create and Own

As part of our Industries Tech Events team at Informa Connect, you'll:

  • Craft compelling event programs that captivate industry leaders
  • Build and manage relationships with high-profile speakers across the tech sector
  • Shape the content strategy for our prestigious MVNOs series and our flagship Network X event
  • Drive innovation in how we deliver knowledge and networking opportunities
  • Influence the direction of events recognized as global market leaders in telecom networks and services

Key Deliverables for the Conference Coordinator

Production

  • High quality conference agendas – virtual, hybrid & in-person
  • Awards programmes
  • Short form virtual content – e.g. webinars, interviews, workshops, roundtables etc.
  • Advisory Boards
  • Community content – blogs, thought leadership pieces, written interviews with speakers
  • Briefs for sales, marketing, VIP, delegate sales, and operations where required
  • Contributions towards portfolio content strategy
  • Content support for sales staff and SpEx clients

Business Development. Develops new and existing business

  • Provide creative input & tactical support in the delivery of new products
  • Works closely with sales leads on key sponsor accounts
  • Work closely with the telesales team to drive delegate revenue growth

Relationships & Brand Awareness

  • Build relationships with key customers
  • Develop and maintain other key contacts e.g. Associations, Partners, JVs
  • Contribute to positive public profile of our events
  • Host Advisory Board calls and meetings
  • Develop as a thought-leader within the industry
  • Build rapport at events and industry meets

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication & inter-personal skills
  • An understanding of research processes combined with strong analytical skills
  • Ability to forge and develop positive relationships with multiple different internal and external stakeholders
  • Creative and resilient with a self- motivating, positive and naturally curious attitude
  • Interest in content and experienced in creation in virtual, hybrid and in-person formats
  • Awareness of and ability to use social media and content delivery platforms
