The role
As the Assisted Travel Service Standards Coordinator, it will be your job to undertake general support & quality assurance activities to ensure Manchester Airport continues to meet its regulatory and strategic targets and offer disabled customers the very best standard of assistance.
The normal work pattern will be Monday to Friday during regular business hours, however flexibility may be required during operational disruption or to support exceptional ad-hoc events. There is an opportunity for hybrid working which can be discussed during the interview.
Your accountabilities will include:
- Auditing service and engagement standards on arriving and departing flights
- Maintain records of service delivery performance, update and distribute regular internal reporting packs
- Complete monthly, bi-annual and yearly regulatory reports
- Organise & coordinate Accessibility Forum meetings
- Record minutes of meetings & distribute as required
- Coordinate customer complaint responses
- Coordinate & lead Try the Airport Tours
- Stock administration including purchasing / ordering from preferred suppliers
- Carry out regular safety & standards inspections of dedicated facilities e.g. Changing Places, Sunflower Room, reception areas

- Lived experience of disability or experience supporting disabled people
- Well organised and comfortable managing your own workload
- Good at building professional relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders
- Good working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make informed decisions based on data
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Resilient with the ability to confidently handle change and challenges outside of your control
- Good at problem solving
