This is a hands-on role combining People Team site leadership, local employment compliance, and employee lifecycle support. • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and employment practices in the UK, Germany, France, Spain, and Italy; manage or coordinate with local counsel as needed.
  • Lead or support People processes such as onboarding, offboarding, absence management, engagement initiatives, and local compensation/benefits coordination.
  • Partner with global People Team colleagues to implement People programs and policies across EUAA.
  • Identify and deliver localized training based on regional needs and global goals.
  • Support workforce planning, employment documentation, contract reviews, and immigration coordination.
  • Create and tailor employee communications to suit local audiences, ensuring clarity and cultural relevance while maintaining consistency with global messaging.
  • Help develop and maintain a positive, inclusive, and productive workplace culture.
  • Drive operational excellence by improving processes, ensuring documentation is audit-ready, and building local HR capabilities.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in HR or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including generalist or site HR leadership roles in Europe.
  • Strong working knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance in the UK, France, Germany, Spain, and Italy.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously in a matrixed or global environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills; confident working with employees at all levels.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (Workday), employee data handling, and regional reporting.
  • Comfortable balancing tactical day-to-day responsibilities with regional project work.
  • Proficiency in English required; additional European languages (e.g., German, French, or Spanish) preferred.
