Lead People Partner | GoHenry

GoHenry is a UK-based fintech company created by parents to pioneer financial education. More recently, GoHenry moved into Europe and the US by joining forces with French fintech company PixPay and US investing app, Acorns.

Together, Acorns, PixPay, and GoHenry have over 6 million members across 5 countries. We are focused on empowering families with engaging money management tools, educational content, and a seamless product experience that creates financial well-being from birth to adulthood.

The role

GoHenry is seeking a Lead People Partner who thrives in fast-paced, agile environments and brings a proactive, strategic mindset to every challenge. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in unlocking the full potential of our team by coaching leaders, supporting managers, and aligning people strategies with business outcomes. You'll foster an environment where individuals feel supported, valued, and inspired to do their best work. You’ll be skilled at coaching, building trust, influencing across levels, navigating complexity with confidence, and helping teams effectively scale. You bring empathy, strong business acumen, and a track record of designing and delivering people strategies that are innovative and human-centered. This role offers the opportunity to work across departments to shape thoughtful, values-led solutions that elevate performance and help teams grow.

What you will do at GoHenry:

  • Equip and work closely with managers to strengthen team performance and development through proactive coaching, feedback, and people planning.

  • Partner with managers to develop and implement strategies that foster high-performing, engaged, and inclusive teams aligned with company values and business goals.

  • Lead key processes such as succession planning, absence management and employee relations, ensuring consistency and fairness.

  • Support teams through organisational change management by advising on communication, engagement strategies, and navigating transitions aligned to Acorns’ Values and GoHenry Principles.

  • Use people data insights to inform decision-making, identify trends, and guide action plans that enhance team health and effectiveness.

  • Act as a strategic HR business partner to senior leaders, offering insight and guidance on organisational design, workforce planning, performance management, and talent development.

  • Act as a key partner with global HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Total Rewards, and Community to align business needs with functional expertise.

  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies, proactively mitigating risk and resolving complex Employee Relations matters as needed.

What you will bring to GoHenry:

  • Deep HR expertise across performance management, employee relations, talent planning, and change management within the UK context.

  • Proven experience as a senior HR Business Partner or People Partner, ideally in a high-growth or matrixed organisation.

  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices; understanding of US employment law experience is a plus.

  • Experience partnering with senior leadership and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to coach people leaders through complex challenges with clarity, care, and confidence.

  • Ability to operate confidently with HR Systems like Workday to manage processes, data, and workflows with accuracy.

  • Skilled in analysing people data to identify trends and generate insights that drive impactful people strategies

  • Develop scalable resources and SOPs to drive clarity with consistency and self-service across the global business.

  • Demonstrated ability to stay adaptive, solutions-oriented, and forward-thinking.

  • Proactive mindset to identify opportunities for innovation in people strategies, pushing beyond conventional approaches to deliver scalable, values-aligned impact.

  • Able to challenge the status quo thoughtfully and influence cross-functional stakeholders to co-create progressive, human-centered solutions that drive business outcomes.

  • Hunger to deliver game-changing products

  • Exceptional drive and precision in delivery

  • A belief that your work is tied to your life's mission

  • Optimistic about the potential of societal change
