Part Time Housing & Support Administrator - 18.75 hours per week
Salary £12,286 - £12,495 for 18.75 hours (£24,572 - £24,990 FTE).
Stepping Stone Projects is an established and growing charity providing quality homes and services to help prevent homelessness and transform lives across the North West.
Our support services are aimed at helping our customers develop the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to maintain a stable home and a structured lifestyle before assisting them in the process of securing or retaining permanent independent accommodation.
We are looking to appoint a permanent, part-time, Housing and Support Administrator, on our Bury temporary accommodation services.
The role is 18.75 hours per week, over an agreed number of days. To be discussed at interview.
The office base for this role will be at Huntley House, Bury BL9 6JZ, with flexibility to work at other sites across the organisation if required.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Managing the petty cash float
- Providing high quality support to Support Workers with various tasks
- Collating information for Housing Benefit claims and submitting claims as required
- Maintaining stocks of stationery, equipment, and the stock room of items for properties
- Keeping spreadsheets and records up to date
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Good literacy & numeracy skills.
- Working in an administrative or assistant role within a service offering housing-related support or similar.
- Ability to support, co-operate and ‘teamwork’ with others to achieve common objectives.
- Awareness of health and safety / personal safety issues in a housing management/supported accommodation context and in lone working.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other agencies.
- Ability to maintain administrative records/statistical information accurately and efficiently and prepare reports.
This is a busy role and requires excellent organisational skills.
