We have an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Assistant to join our team. We are looking for someone who’s great with people, and takes pride in their work. If you love working with you hands making things, and have experience in driving a forklift, this is the ideal position for you.
The role
· Manufacturing Panels, Trellis and Gates
· Planing posts, including topping and morticing
· Cross cutting timber to length and making pallets
· Occasional customer service and yard work when required
· Ensuring health & safety is complied with at all times
You need to
· Have great wood working skills
· Have fork lift experience (Desired)
· Be reliable & enthusiastic with a ‘can do attitude’
· Experience working as a Workshop Assistant or similar role
· Be happy working on you own at times
Experience
Timber Merchant or Woodworking – 1 Year (Essential)
Hours
Monday-Friday 07.00-16.30 Occasional Saturdays
Equestrian Fencing & Timber offer good rates of pay to the right candidate, and will also offer into a pension scheme once your probation period has ended.

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
