Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Surveyor to join our growing team. Reporting to our Senior Surveyors, the successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality damp and mould remediation projects, carrying out site surveys, preparing reports, and liaising with clients and the in-house technical teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting property surveys to assess damp, mould, and associated building defects.
- Gather and document detailed site information, measurements, photographs, and observations.
- Support in preparing clear, accurate survey reports and remediation proposals for clients.
- Liaise with clients, tenants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and smooth project progression.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring works are carried out in line with specifications, standards, and client expectations.
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
- Attend client meetings, site inspections, and handover meetings as required.
- Stay up to date with relevant industry best practices, regulations, and health & safety standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience or strong interest in property surveying, building maintenance, or construction.
- Knowledge or willingness to learn about damp, mould, and associated remedial works.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND, NVQ, or equivalent in Building Surveying or Construction) desirable but not essential – training will be provided.

Pay: £25,063.41-£45,342.64 per year
