Job description
We’re looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Wellbeing Lead to join our team at Each Other Care agency! You’ll design and deliver a vibrant programme of activities that supports the emotional, cognitive, and physical well-being of our residents.
About the Role
As our Wellbeing Lead, you’ll be at the heart of our home’s community, creating and coordinating meaningful, person-centred experiences that reflect the interests, abilities, and life stories of our residents. You’ll work closely with care staff, families, and external professionals to foster a warm, inclusive environment where every resident feels valued, connected, and inspired.
We use technology to enhance care and communication, and you’ll receive full training on our systems, including:
- Person Centred Software (PCS) for care planning
- RADAR for managing events and safeguarding
- Connecteam for rotas and internal communication
Key Responsibilities
Wellbeing Planning & Delivery
- Design and lead a varied programme of group and one-to-one wellbeing activities, including arts, music, reminiscence, gentle exercise, and sensory sessions.
- Adapt sessions to meet the needs of residents with dementia and other health conditions.
- Encourage participation and promote independence, creativity, and joy.
Resident Engagement
- Build meaningful relationships with residents to understand their preferences, histories, and goals.
- Support residents in setting personal goals and celebrating achievements.
- Foster a sense of community and belonging through inclusive social events.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with care teams, families, and external entertainers or volunteers.
- Maintain accurate records of participation and outcomes using digital systems.
- Uphold safeguarding, health and safety, and infection control standards.
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Skills
- Previous experience in a wellbeing, activities, or dementia support role is desirable.
- A warm, empathetic personality with excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Creativity, enthusiasm, and confidence in leading group sessions.
- Right to work in the UK and a clear DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
