Cook – Glyncornel Nursing Home
£13.50 per hour
24 hours per week (8:30am – 5:00pm, 2 days a week on a rota)
We are currently looking for a dedicated and reliable Cook to join our team at Glyncornel Nursing Home.
About the Role:
- You’ll be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for our residents in line with a pre-set menu.
- Meals may vary in consistency to suit individual dietary needs.
- You will be working independently in the kitchen.
- General cleaning duties and following cleaning schedules are a key part of the role.
- Occasional cover for colleagues during annual leave may be required.
What We’re Looking For:
- A valid Food Hygiene Certificate or willingness to work towards one.
- Previous experience in a care home is not essential – full training will be provided.
- Someone who is organised, confident working alone, and passionate about preparing nutritious meals.
