Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take food and drink orders accurately, ensuring all guest requests are noted.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while adhering to food safety standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and maximise sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, providing assistance as needed.
- Process payments accurately while ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a culinary or hospitality role is essential.
- MUST HAVE PAST/PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN RESTAURANT
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Experience with upselling techniques is advantageous.
- A keen interest in food preparation and kitchen operations will be beneficial.
