Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Server to join our team at Drakes Fish & Chip Takeaway & Restaurant on TUESDAY AND SATURDAY EVENINGS. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, taking orders, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for our guests.

· Tuesday 4.45-9.00 pm max
· Saturday 4.45 - 9.00 pm max
. Additionally Monday 4.45 - 9.00 through the school summer holidays
This establishment serves alcohol and requires sensible conduct around hot cooking oil so please only apply if you are 18 or above. We do employ under 18s for supporting roles during the summer holidays but this position is not suitable for those ages.
We have an excellent reputation for speed and accuracy and you will be expected to maintain this.
General Responsibilities:
· Greeting customers with a friendly attitude, engaging naturally with customers. We can teach you how to box the food and all about the different foods we offer, but we can't teach anyone to have a personality or to have initiative and common sense or how to engage with customers, so you need to come with all these qualities already in place!
· Taking orders via touchscreen for takeaway and eating in
· Processing cash and card payments accurately
· Serving hot foods in line with company procedures
· Follow food safety and hygiene requirements
· Maintain clean and organised work stations
· Assist with stock rotation and replenishment
· Carry out cleaning routines
· Become knowledgeable about our products to handle customer allergy queries or requests
Previous experience in a fast food or pub environment is advantageous, great initiative and engaging personality - we're not looking for a robot !
Familiarity with food safety regulations is a bonus as all staff require a food safety certificate

This is an evening position and you must be available every Tuesday and Saturday
We offer a rate of pay at £12.21 per hour with the possibility of performance-related bonuses
