Window Supply Company manufacture and supply UPVC windows and doors to trade. Established in March 2019, the company has quickly become one of the largest window and door fabricating companies in Scotland. The head office and manufacturing facility are based in Whitburn, West Lothian with trade counters in Aberdeen, Bellshill, Dundee, Livingston, Loanhead, Inverness and Kilmarnock in Scotland and Sheffield, Manchester and Lincoln in England. The company prides itself on delivering the most advanced and energy efficient windows in the uPVC market alongside exceptional service. Due to ambitious and exciting growth plans, the company has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Assistant/Driver to join the team at our Trade Counter in Lincoln on a temporary basis, for approximately 6 months.
Trade Counter Warehouse Assistant / Branch Assistant role:
- Reporting to the Branch Manager and as part of a team, you will have a hands on role across all areas of the trade counter
- Receive deliveries, put goods away in the warehouse, prepare orders to be collected and load orders onto vans
- Deal with customers coming into the trade counter, answering queries and delivering good customer service
- IT confident and happy to learn you will also be trained up to book goods in and out and take payments
- Answer the telephone and arrange deliveries / collections
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience within a trade counter type environment is highly desirable
- Product knowledge of windows and doors is an advantage, but not essential
- Warehouse/loading and unloading experience - the role does involve some heavy lifting
- Full, clean driver's licence
- The successful applicant will have good people skills - able to get on well with trade customers - and will be proactive, and willing to learn new products.
- A hands-on customer focused approach, confident and happy to serve customers and proactively engage with potential customers
